The display of Iran's power in Oman and Syria in the form of military operations abroad in the modern era has led Iran to be seen as a regional power. This display of power is due to the unique position and characteristics of the interior, along with the impact of regional and international events. This article, by assuming regional power of Iran in the last half century and using an analytical-descriptive method, seeks to answer the question of what role the components of national power have played in enhancing the regional power and influence of contemporary Iran? The findings of this research indicate that four variables of geographical location (geopolitics-geo-economics), economic components (oil revenues, gross domestic product, GDP per capita, exports and imports), military power component (strategy, costs and equipment) and identity component Has had an important role in promoting the regional power of Iran. Also, the regional influence of the Islamic Republic of Iran has increased due to the increase in oil revenues, the exploitation of the geopolitical-geo-economic advantages, military capability, the adoption of a universal identity and a wider sphere of influence.
