In recent years, the influence of Asia and Pacific on the global and regional geopolitical equations and prediction of power balance has made Americachange its approach to Pacific and the focus of its strategies in this area. It is assumed that Asia-Pacific position in the future of global system has changed America’s strategy toward this region.
The methodology of this research is based on the argumentative approach and its method is descriptive-analytical and the information have been gathered from library method. Our findings showed that the most important reasonswhyAmerica changed its strategy toward Asia-Pacific regionareChina’simproving economic and military power, assuringfree access to the common interests, securingmaritime trading routes, preventingNorth Korea fromdeveloping long-range missiles, strengthening America’s security alliance with partner countries, and developing the Liberalism in the region. The impact of the Asia-Pacific area on regional and international security equations, especially the emergence of new powers in the region, has increased its importance in the security equations and strategic policies of other players, especially the United States
